Hi! I’m Syl. I have over two decades in marketing and design working in the manufacturing industry. Prior to that I worked in the media industry having one of the top political talk shows on WGNU in St. Louis, Missouri. My background in media helps me with understanding how to navigate the press and also aids with many of my clients who are in the entertainment industry. My background in the manufacturing industry is super cool because for pretty much 20 years I got to work with clients who made everything from airplane parts (including the main portion that you walk on in the aisle), to the knobs you turn your faucets on with every day. Because I was on the sales side of the machines that actually make things, I had the ability to work in all sorts of industries. I worked in several departments as well and have a strong business background and that kind of makes me a BEAST! The lessons, tools and education I received at that company was imperative to the person I am today. I will always give credit where credit is due. The President and CEO of that company, Gary, taught me so many valuable lessons. The ones that stuck the most are: Those who read, lead and silence is acceptance. Those two statements say more about me and my business edict than I can speak about.
Not to brag…but
I was featured in Target Marketing Magazine for my expertise on PURL’s (personalized URL’s) and my ability to gain over 50% response on all direct mail advertisements. I LOVE to use PURLs on social media efforts and marketing campaigns as a means to track my clients targeted audience. I have been told once or twice that I have taken the social media platform to a new level.
